Lina Stein is an Australian born milliner based in the West of Ireland. Creating unique pieces in straws and felts with beautiful gathered linings. Teaching from her studio she shares her skills with students from across the globe.
Training at East Sydney Tech Lina then took classes around the local area in Sydney. She went on to work for Opera Australia before relocating to Dublin Ireland opening her own shop creating custom made pieces.
With the philosophy that a piece is not finished without a beautiful lining, Lina’s stunning gathered linings are a unique and stunning finish to her pieces. Students are introduced to the technique early in the class when Lina is hosting a lesson with the opportunity for them to explore and adapt if for themselves.
