Ellen Thommessen is a Norwegian milliner and costume maker who trained in Oslo, Stockholm then London under Rose Cory and in the workroom of Phillip Somerville in the early 1990s. She now leads the costume workroom at Oslo Nye Teater and co‑coordinates the Oslo Hat Walk alongside other freelance making.
